Obituary of Jesse Michael Johnson

Jesse M. Johnson (23) passed away on September 22, 2015 in St. Maries, ID. He was born to Arthur and Jolyn Johnson on March 12, 1992 in St. Maries, ID. Jesse grew up in St. Maries and played track, basketball, baseball, football, and wrestling even competing at State. He graduated from SMHS with the class of 2011. Following high school, Jesse worked Traffic Control for C&R Traffic and as a Receptionist at H&R Block. After working for H&R Block, he went to work for Stimson Lumber Company. During his time at Stimson, Jesse worked his way up the ranks starting out as a Laborer, moving into a Machine Operator, working into his current position of Utility Lead. Jesse enjoyed being in the outdoors, and he loved hunting very much. Especially the hunting trips he took with his dad. Athletics were a big part of his life growing up and he enjoyed playing sports. Jesse was a tender heart and loved his family and the time they spent together. He was an amazing kid and anyone who met him loved him and his smile. Jesse is survived by his mother and her companion Jolyn Johnson and Robbie Lehman, father and companion Arthur Johnson and Rhonda Dionne all of St. Maries. He is also survived by his grandparents Ruth Udager of St. Maries Mel (Bev) Udager of St. Maries, Jack (Connie) Monzingo of Bonners Ferry, ID, Ron Burke of St. Maries, and Marnie Johnson of St. Maries. Also surviving are his brothers AJ Johnson of Coeur d’ Alene, Nicholas Sines of Sandpoint, “adopted” brother Mike Halloran of St. Maries, and several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and 1 “adopted” nephew. A memorial service is planned for Saturday October 3, 2015 11:00 am at the Eagles Lodge. A gathering of family and friends to share a meal will follow at the lodge.
