Obituary

After a prolonged illness Mary passed away peacefully at her home in Harrison, ID. She is survived by her husband and companion of 46 years, Ray Unger, her daughter Melinda Griesel of St. Maries, her son Mark Beplate of Moscow, brothers Jim and Jerry of Potlatch, Dennis of Hilmer, sisters Anita and Judy of Potlatch, and stepchildren Shawn Unger of Harrison and Jenny Esch of Spokane.

She graduated Potlatch High School and married Dick Beplate. After their divorce, she moved to Harrison, ID where she met her husband, Ray. She worked with him at the Gateway Resort, driving school bus for Kootenai School District, and later became the breakfast cook at Rose's Café.

More than anything, Mary enjoyed being active outdoors.  Fishing trips up the St. Joe, blue backing on Lake Coeur d' Alene, huckleberry picking, and working in the yard and garden.

She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren who she adored and loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents Wilber and Dorothy (Packard) Woolverton, her daughter Jozette, brothers Bob, Don, and David, and sister Ynona Miller.

There will be a potluck celebration of her life on Saturday August 22 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the Harrison Senior Citizens Center.
