Robert T. Olsen (86) resident of Clarkia, ID passed away at his home on January 7, 2019.  He was born to Carl and Edith Olsen on August 16, 1932 in Almira, WA.  As a child Robert grew up in the Almira area.  In October of 1951 he married Jackie Williamson.

Robert was a member of the Teamsters Union and was a long-haul truck driver for over 50 years.  In his younger years, Robert like to camp and water ski.  In 2007 he purchased property near Clarkia, ID and moved onto it with his son Kenny and daughter in-law Jackie.  Robert will be remembered as being a very good father, and he took wonderful care of his children.

Robert is survived by his sons Robert Olsen Jr. of Spokane, WA and Timothy Olsen of Coeur d' Alene, ID, and son and daughter in-law Kenny and Jackie Olsen of Clarkia, ID, 14 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his wife Jackie Olsen, sister Debi Olsen, grandson Christopher Olsen, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.

He will be laid to rest at Fairmont Memorial Park in Spokane, WA.
